Marian and David Moffett came to Australia with their respective parents at an early age. They grew up in Melbourne's Northern and Western suburbs before they met and eventually married in 1969.

Marian is a gifted designer. She researched and put together the restoration of this magnificent property. David, a builder by trade, is very good at doing what he is told. Marian named "Ardenlee" after her family's ancestral home in Ireland.
